3 things you didn't know about beach volleyball

1. Beach volleyball is played all over the world and draws players of all ages, races, sexes, shapes, and sizes to its courts.

2. The biggest amateur beach volleyball tournament in the world is annually held in Seaside, Oregon. This three day event draws nearly 3,000 total teams and requires 150 beach volleyball courts.

3. You can legally use any part of your body to keep the volleyball in play during a rally. The ball must not make contact with your body more than once (known as a double) or for a duration of more than 1.5 seconds. This real has an exception of course: if the ball is hard driven, you can indeed double it to keep it in play.

There you have it. You may have actually known one or more of these three items beforehand, but stay tuned for more detailed information pertaining to beach volleyball and other under renowned sports.

Please comment below with feedback and other under renowned sports you'd like me to review.

See you on the beach!
